Advanced Dog TrainingSuper Dog Manners is an advanced dog training class for graduates of the Family Manners class. This is a step above and beyond basic obedience training.

Super Dog Manners incorporates positive reinforcement dog training techniques into the advanced exercises and commands you and your dog will be learning. We’ll pull in distractions for your dog and make things more difficult. We practice life skills that every dog should know and respond consistently to, for their safety and for yours.

Even though this is an advanced class, it still focuses on fun for everyone (including the dog). Rewards, treats, and praise are what we are using to get the best out of your dog.

Our advanced dog training is an excellent way to get into shape for the Canine Good Citizen class and the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. The American Kennel Club recognizes the importance of these dog obedience skills and offers certification through testing for you and your dog.

As with all of our other classes, we focus on family friendly techniques and invite all the members of your household to come out an join in the fun. Your dog will learn the advanced commands quicker when all your family members are using them.

  • Beyond basic commands with an emphasis on distractions, and increasing reliability
  • New commands such as “wait”, “leave it”, “go to your bed” are introduced
  • More advanced work with heeling and coming when called
  • A great preparation for Canine Good Citizen class

Classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class size is limited for individualized attention for you and your dog, so don’t wait to register. If you have any questions about class availability or upcoming class dates, please email us. Please keep in mind that if our classes don’t fit your schedule, you can always sign up for Private In-Home lessons. If you prefer to mail a check for payment instead of using PayPal, you may download our Registration Form and mail with proper payment.
