Puppies in Puppy Manners Group Class

Learn family friendly puppy training techniques in Puppy Manners held by Blue Dog Creature Coaching. You and your new puppy will be introduced to the basics of reward-based training and your entire family is encouraged to participate.

Positive puppy training techniques include motivating and rewarding your puppy with food, toys, and affection, and without force or fear. It’s all about the good, learning how to reward and encourage calm, settled behaviors.

Puppy training class also provides socialization opportunities with other people, new objects and environments, and other puppies. Proper socialization is extremely important to build your puppy’s confidence about the world and to help them be self-assured, adaptable adult dogs.

We’ll teach you how to gently handle your puppy with the foundations of the Tellington TTouch Method, how to communicate with your new puppy effectively, and to build a life-long cooperative relationship.

• First class is a 90 minute orientation without puppies
• The basics of puppy management, communication, and how to use reward based training techniques to set you and your puppy up for success
• Learning simple TTouch bodywork and balanced movement exercises to reduce stress, arousal and increase communication
• Structured socialization
• Handling & grooming exercises
• Basic commands such as sit, down, attention, and walking in balance with puppy leash training

Classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class size is limited for individualized attention for you and your puppy, so don’t wait to register. Please keep in mind that if our classes don’t fit your schedule, you can always sign up for Private In-Home lessons. If you prefer to mail a check for payment instead of using PayPal, you may download our Registration Form and mail with proper payment.
